Static JPEG, PNG, and WebP where supported. Animated images, SVG, GIF, HEIC, and AVIF are outside this release.
Good to know
PNG uses native lossless encoding; its size cannot be controlled with a quality slider. Re-encoding can sometimes create a larger file.
EXIF orientation is applied. Re-encoding may remove metadata and change color rendering. JPEG uses the selected solid background for transparency. Safety limits: 20 MB per image, 24 megapixels, and 8,192 px per side.

Will every image get smaller?
No. Already optimized images may become larger. Actual file sizes and any increase are shown honestly before you download.
Can I use this without an internet connection?
Yes, after you prepare the image tools below and the browser retains their assets. Installation is optional. All processing dependencies are bundled locally.
